MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
By joining one of Helen Skellett’s Yoga classes you hereby agree to the following:

That you are participating in the Yoga classes, or any other exercise class offered by Helen Skellett, during which you will receive information and instruction about yoga, physical exercise or health.

You recognize that exercise requires physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and you are fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.

You represent and warrant that you are physically fit and have no medical condition, which would prevent your full participation in these yoga classes.

You understand that it is your responsibility to consult a physician prior to and regarding your participation in the yoga classes offered by the instructor.

You agree to not starting any fitness classes if your physician or health care provider advises against it. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain, shortness of breath at any time, or any unusual symptoms while exercising you agree to stopping immediately.

If you are pregnant you understand that you participate fully at your own risk and that of your unborn child/children. You understand that Helen is not qualified in Pregnancy Yoga.

The class is specifically tailored for the Clients, and the lesson plan is drawn up before the class. If you would like to have a consultation to discuss any concerns or injuries before the class please email helenskellettyoga@gmail.com to arrange this.

‘Classes’ includes Yoga lessons face to face in a studio, at home or online lessons.

You understand that from time to time during yoga classes, the instructor may physically adjust students’ form and posture. If you do not want such physical adjustments, you will so inform the instructor at each class you attend. You also acknowledge that if you do wish to receive such adjustments; it is your responsibility to inform the instructor when an adjustment has gone as far as you desire at that time.

Helen Skellett is fully insured with Yoga Alliance and a certified 200 hour Yoga teacher. You may ask to see the relevant documents if required.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Yoga classes, you agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which you might incur as a result of participating in the class offered by your instructor.
In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the Yoga classes, you knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim you may have against Helen Skellett for injury or damages that you may sustain as a result of participating in these classes.
You take full and sole responsibility from any liability of loss or damage to personal property associated with your Yoga classes or any other events. Your heirs, legal representatives forever release, or waive, discharge and covenant not to sue your instructor or for any injury or death caused by their negligence or other acts.
By provision of this document and reading the above release and waiver of liability, you fully understand its contents and you voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above under your own freewill.
